    Fabulous

Great location, good breakfast, good room for a budget price

Room was a bit battered and shower had a leak.

    Superb

The room was dated, but clean. We found the facility be accident and there where no hotelsdowntown Toronto. The location and price made for an great weekend. The breakfast provided was really good and staff was friendly.

When we checked in, we went to the room and it had 2 singles beds, it was on the 17th floor, I think. We called down and we got another room on th 5th floor. It was fine except it was behind the elevator, so we heard it going up and down several times. We did not mention this to the fromt desk.

    Fabulous

Breakfast, Location, Service, price and size of the rooms.

It was a little hot due to the weather and would like the a/c to have worked a lot better than it did.....I hope that they could be better but I do realize that school runs mostly in colder months, so I understand why it might not be up to par. The breakfast was amazing, very impressive. I like my stay and would return, I hope the improve the room temperatures.

    Fabulous

Excellent breakfast in the student cafeteria. Wi-Fi at Starbucks nearby. Good security 24 hrs a day. No-one can access the elevator without showing a room key. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location only a short distance from the Eaton Centre.

    Superb

Good location in the city, good value for money, breakfast included.

As explained to me, during the school year, this building is used as a student residence, therefore a TV or coffee machine were not available in the room. However, this was not a problem as the area is surrounded by cafes and we did not spend much time in the room anyway.

  • 7.8
    Fabulous

Location, price, great breakfast included in room rate.

A bit sparse; absence of tv set in room (understandable since this is a student residence during academic year). Also lack of wifi since student residents are able to hook in to U of Toronto intranet (but casual visitors cannot).

    Fabulous

the location is good. the food provided in the restaurant was excellent.

the internet connection is old fashioned and slow.

  • 7.4
    Very good

    Location, breakfast.

    Refrigirate and microwave smells.

  • 7.0
    Very good

Friendly staff, free breakfast buffet for 2 (very enjoyable), price, warm showers, location to downtown, security was visible and pleasant with guests.

Lack of maid service (once a week - staff provided extra towels, etc. as needed). Remember this was a college dorm during the school year. Building was a former hotel the university had purchased and used as a dorm. Older funiture, carpeting, space. Had a disgustingly dirty fridge and microwave available for use down the hall (we did not use it).

    Superb

Good breakfasts, excellent central location, friendly, efficient staff, comfortable, spacious room.

Room carpet a bit old, loud student party noise late one night (but peace and quiet quickly restored by security).

Good location . Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Hotel very old. High price for the quality of the hotel. Without internet.

  • 10.0
    Exceptional

The breakfasts were wonderful - lots of fresh fruit, selection of cereals, eggs, toast, bagels, etc. -- coffee, tea, juices, all really good.

We were a little close to the elevators - the sound carried for a few hours every evening.

  • 9.2
    Superb

It was economically and a great location. I used it for proximity to Pricess Margret Hospital where I have appointments. The included breakfast was great. I am so glad to have found it. It might be good to promote it through the uhn. It takes the stress of travel out of major medical appointments.

It was not luxury but, I was practical and comfortable.

It is a very bad hotel. Very dirty. Bad, old sheets, dirty as well. no TV, holls on the wall. Trash has not been removed at all. Staff is very rude and not trained. Bad manangment. Do not ever go there.
